After a crash · Nevada injury law

Do I need a lawyer for a minor car accident?

The short answer

Not always. If you were genuinely uninjured and the property damage is being handled fairly, you may not need one. Get advice before accepting anything if you were hurt at all, if fault is disputed, or if the offer arrived quickly.

We will tell you when you do not need us

It happens on the phone regularly. A consultation is free, there is no attorney’s fee unless we recover for you, and case costs are separate and explained before anything starts. Finding out costs nothing either way.

Where "minor" turns out not to be

Low-speed impacts producing real cervical injury, and early offers that look reasonable until the treatment bills arrive. Accepting closes the claim permanently, including for whatever gets diagnosed afterward.

It is a common sticking point in Nevada car accident claims, and it is easier to settle early than late. The free case review is the place to start.

Still not sure how this applies to you?

A free case review answers it against your actual facts. No cost, no obligation, and a person answers any hour in English or Spanish.
