Why the boundary matters

Half the valley is not in any city

Most of the Las Vegas valley is not inside a city at all. Paradise, which contains the Strip, the airport and UNLV, and Spring Valley, which holds a quarter of a million people, are unincorporated towns governed directly by Clark County. Las Vegas and Henderson are incorporated cities with their own governments and, in Henderson’s case, its own police force.

For an ordinary claim against another driver, none of that changes anything. It changes a great deal the moment a public body is involved — a road defect, a signal, a transit bus, a government vehicle. Under NRS 41.036 the claim must be filed with the right governing body, and there is no city of Paradise to file one with. Getting that wrong burns weeks of a two-year deadline.

What covering the valley means

How we actually work across it

One office, the whole valley

319 S 3rd St, Suite 200, Las Vegas, NV 89101, two blocks from the Regional Justice Center where the district court sits. Every matter we file in the valley is filed there regardless of which suburb it came from.

If you cannot travel, we come to you

At home, or in the hospital. A claim runs perfectly well for somebody who is still treating, and nobody should be discharging themselves early to keep an appointment with a lawyer.

English and Spanish, any hour

A person answers the phone 24 hours, in either language. Evidence in these cases has a shelf life measured in days, so the first call is not something that should wait for office hours.

Hurt here, living elsewhere

A large share of injuries in Paradise happen to visitors. Those matters run with the client at home: the Nevada records and the follow-up treatment in another state get pulled together before any figure is discussed.

Not sure if we cover your area?

We take cases across Nevada, and we run matters for people who were visiting and have since flown home. Call and we will tell you plainly.
